York Lane is an inner city venue that is a licensed espresso bar/café by morning and licensed restaurant/bar by night. Come and enjoy the atmosphere that has been created with the split level seating arrangement, walking in off the back lane into another world. We have vinyl records playing the tunes that immediately give you great memories.

...Inside, stairs from street level divide a small internal balcony and a milk crate storage system. The counter extends out from street level to a normal height bar and the furniture is low and simple. The lighting is dim and comfortable, provided by a collection of Spun timber pendants. Music was good too, kicking back and listening to the soul sounds of People Giving Love by The Brand New Heavies.
...The café provides a small selection of sandwiches and baked goods – all made onsite. My lunch set me back $17.80 which included a Salami Panini (10.5) with a Large Coffee (4.5) and a delious butter biscuit to finish (2.8).
...I was just expecting a quiet café, but found a well-stocked – fully licensed bar. A good selection of Australian Beers such as Little Creatures, Lord Nelson and 4Pines as well as all your run of the mill spirits and a selection of wines. Perfect for a business lunch or a couple of quiet drinks after work.
